This privacy notice explains who we are, how we collect, share, and use personal information, and how you can exercise your privacy rights. Changes to the Privacy Notice might be made, so please visit our website for the latest version. Your data may be used for different purposes than those mentioned here. If that is the case, we will notify you accordingly and proceed only if you agree. If you disagree with our Privacy Notice, please discontinue using our services.
Background
We provide language tuition homestays. As a host teacher, you will accommodate and teach students who enroll in our programs. The selection of host teachers is based on a thorough assessment to ensure a successful match with students. Our administrative office is located in Monaco, which is where your data is collected.
What information is being collected?
The information collected includes your name, country and city of residence, phone number, email address, year of birth, gender, profession, nationality, language proficiency, teaching qualifications, hobbies, whether you smoke, household details, dietary preferences, accommodation details and any other relevant information to facilitate student placements. Bank account details may also be required for payment processing.
What is the legal basis for processing your information?
Collecting your personal information is necessary for the selection and verification process to register you as a host teacher. It helps us fulfill our contractual obligations to you and ensure a safe and suitable environment for students.
Will the information be shared with any third parties?
The information you provide is shared with Influent Regional Managers and students. Sometimes this may be a single Regional Manager and a single student, but we may have to share your information with multiple Regional Managers and potential students to facilitate placements. Additionally, we may be required to disclose your personal information if required by law.
How will the information be used?
Regional Managers are trusted individuals, carefully selected by Influent. They are responsible for managing host teachers in specific areas and personally know all registered hosts. They will use your information to match you with suitable students. We will never use your information in automated decision-making systems, including profiling systems.
How long will your information be stored?
We will keep your personal information for as long as we have a relationship with you. Once our relationship with you has ended, we will retain your personal information for a period necessary to maintain business records for analysis (such as industry trends and audits), to comply with record-keeping requirements under applicable laws, and to address any potential legal claims, fraud detection, or complaints regarding our services. Your personal information will be deleted when it is no longer required for these purposes. We will never sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who is responsible for your information?
INFLUENT ME FZ LLC is responsible for your information. The Office Manager can be reached by email: be@influentme.com.
What rights do you have?
If you are an EU citizen, you have rights under the European Union’s General Data Protection Rules (GDPR) to access or object to the use of personal information held about you at any time. You can also request that we rectify, update, erase, restrict, or share your information in a usable format with another company. We encourage you to contact us to update or correct your information if it changes or if the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate. Promotion
We may contact you regarding promotional activities such as newsletters, social media posts, or other marketing efforts. In such cases, we will provide you with full information and ask for your specific consent.
