Our full immersion programs are suitable for adults of all ages and levels and are entirely tailored to you and your needs, whether you have a specific language learning goal, or simply want to discover a new language and culture.
You stay in your private host’s home, on full-board accommodation, you are the only student, and you are totally immersed in the target language. You are treated like a guest or relative and you learn the language by living it, which is the most effective way to make rapid and significant progress.
Lessons and/or activities are personalised to meet your individual needs and your host teacher designs a program based on your objectives. Outside lesson and activity hours you practise the language you are learning through sharing daily family life and social interactions.

Doing a language immersion program with a host teacher is the perfect way to improve your foreign language skills and effectively communicate in a professional area of choice. Our hosts are carefully selected for their background, experience and expertise in different areas such as business, marketing, tourism, science, etc.
They can offer courses using specific vocabulary and jargon in the area chosen and will prepare you for communication in an international working environment, career advancement or change, meetings in the target language, presentations, and many other individual, precise objectives.
You can combine your program for professional purposes with general activities, cultural visits, sports or excursions to obtain a unique insight into another culture and learn not only through theory but also through practice.

All Fast Track participants are offered a 20% discount on the price of a one-week stay, including lessons and accommodation.

You have already arranged your accommodation and would like to have individual language lessons during the stay.
Book 15, 20, or 25 hours of lessons only, without accommodation. The lessons usually take place at the teacher’s home.

Duo Shared Program
Share your immersion program with a friend, colleague or relative. To share lessons you should be of the same language level.

This option is focused on the skills you need for work and is designed to help you make rapid progress in the language you are studying during the immersion program.

You share bathroom facilities with your host and their family unless you book the private bathroom option which gives you the use of your exclusive bathroom for more privacy.
Superior language immersion
This option is for language students who require a high standard of living. We have selected our most exclusive host teachers, they are all passionate about teaching and love meeting people from different backgrounds. You will benefit from a superior standard of accommodation and meals as well as a very experienced host and tutor. A private bathroom is automatically included.
Online Lessons
These usually take place on Zoom and can be added to your Home Tuition Program.
The option includes a minimum of 10 sessions of 45 minutes each, 5 sessions before the stay and 5 sessions after the stay. Get to know your teacher before your professional language immersion, prepare for your course, then revise and finalise everything you have learnt on your return.

LEISURE OPTIONS FOR PROFESSIONALS
You can customise your language immersion by combining your Home Tuition Program for professional purposes with leisure activities (general activities or cultural visits). These enable you to learn through practice and fun activities while discovering a new culture
General Activities
These allow you to practise what you have learnt during the lessons through varied family activities with your host.
Activities are decided between you and your host, and can include:
Cooking/baking, shopping, bowling, a sports event, a ball game, cinema, theatre, sightseeing, conversation practice and debates, board games, a nature walk, a local festival or event, a street or farmer’s market, outing (beach, picnic, lake, etc.), historic downtown, a typical village, a local place of interest, afternoon tea or country pub, arts and crafts…
The nature of the activities depends on your interests and the host family's location. Prices include all costs: transport, entrance fees (if applicable), and activity expenses for you and the accompanying person.

Cultural Visits
Visit places of interest and/or museums with your host, who becomes your private guide.
Understanding the culture of the target language gives you a unique opportunity to enhance your experience, and facilitates the learning process. It also enables you to practise your language skills in a different environment and engage in enriching conversations with those living in the region or country.

This option is for those who wish to be accompanied on their language immersion by a person who will not be doing a course and only requires accommodation and meals.

Transfers
Transfers to/from airports, train stations and seaports can be arranged for you, and are usually taken care of by the host, a private driver, or the Regional Manager. The required transfer location will be mentioned on the family profile. If you do not arrive at/depart from the transfer location indicated, charges may be increased.

Extra Night
Our language immersion programs are usually from Sunday to Saturday, but one extra night with the host/family can be arranged if required due to flight schedule constraints. Meals are included, no lessons.

For adult participants of all ages who wish to learn the language exclusively through practice, activities and cultural immersion.
Stay with a host who is not necessarily a teacher but who wants to share his/her daily life and culture with you. An immersive experience for those who want to learn through practice rather than traditional 'sit-down' lessons. Having fun while you learn is the best way to remember what you learn!

Sports
We can provide you with a minimum of 3 sport sessions weekly (the number of sessions may vary depending on the sport and destination).
Sessions are generally individual but sometimes take place with a group. They are usually held with a professional instructor and occasionally with a family member.
Sports are subject to availability and/or weather conditions. A change of area may therefore be required, and in exceptional circumstances replacement by another sport or general activities.
We will require your level. All costs are included: the sport sessions, the accompanied transport and rental equipment (where applicable).

Excursions
Discover an exceptional site or famous theme park in the region in which you are staying during their immersion program.
Excursions take place with their teacher or an adult member of the family.

OPTIONS FOR ADULTS: EXAM PREPARATION & ACADEMIC IMMERSION
Exam Preparation
Your teacher will design a language course to prepare you for an exam such as TOEIC, BULATS, Cambridge ESL, IELTS, DELF, DELE, Baccalaureat, Abitur or Matura. Other exams are available on request.
They will help you familiarise yourself with the test content, level and format, work on the different types of questions you may be asked, review and improve your replies, go over your weaknesses, and give you past exam papers to help you practise.
Academic Holiday
You can also choose to stay with a host during your school or university holiday. This is the ideal solution when you are unable to go back to your country and you are looking for a warm family environment to make you feel at home during your time off.
It is also an opportunity to improve your language skills while having a good time. For minors, the host will supervise any homework given and liaise with the school and the parents for any matters that need attention.

Academic Preparation
Our academic language option for international and EU students helps you prepare for boarding school (GCSE, A Level, IB), foundation courses or university. It enables you to develop and practise the language skills needed to communicate with teachers and students, read academic texts, write summaries, reports, essays and give presentations. You can also extend your vocabulary for your specialised subject (maths, science, economics, business, literature…).
